Job Description
- Assess and identify students speech language and communication needs through detailed evaluations.
- Provide individualized and smallgroup therapy sessions tailored to students unique goals.
- Design customized treatment plans to address a variety of communication challenges including articulation fluency and comprehension.
- Collaborate with the IEP team to create meaningful goals and strategies for student success.
- Partner with educators families and school staff to seamlessly integrate communication support into daily learning activities.
- Maintain thorough records of progress assessments and therapy sessions ensuring all documentation complies with regulations.
Requirements
- ASHA certification is essential for consideration
- A Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
- Eligibility or possession of an SLP license in the state of Florida
- CFYs are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated supervision to enhance their professional growth
