Contract Administrator Electrical Engineering (Buildings)
Location: Ottawa ON Type: FullTime Permanent
Are you passionate about ensuring building projects run smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality We are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator Electrical Engineering to join our dynamic team and contribute to exciting building projects in the Ottawa region!
What You ll Do:
- Oversee project contracts and ensure terms are met.
- Conduct site visits to monitor electrical installations and ensure compliance with design standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers contractors and clients to solve problems and keep projects on track.
- Manage project documentation including change orders RFIs and progress reports.
- Ensure electrical work meets quality standards and Canadian Electrical Code requirements.
What You Bring:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in contract administration or construction management for building projects.
- CET P.Eng. or similar designation is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication coordination and problemsolving skills.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Registered and in good standing with a relevant professional body (for example P. Eng.). Minimum 10 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on managing teams, business development, and client relationship management.
