What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage the nursing staff in the dialysis department to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop implement and evaluate nursing policies and procedures related to dialysis services.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations pertaining to dialysis care.
- Oversee patient assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care plans.
- Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the dialysis unit.
Experience you will need:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12 months nursing experience with additional 6 months dialysis.
- Ht RN required additional 3 months in training of PD and Hd.
- Previous management or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to dialysis care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff and patient interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
