Material Handler
Pay: $17/hr
Hours: MondayFriday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (some Saturdays required)

Job Description:
This is aSafety Sensitiveposition requiring the ability to work safely around overhead cranes forklifts trucks power equipment automated equipment and other potentially hazardous processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks.
- Pack materials appropriately before loading to ensure safe transport.
- Locate raw materials and packed products efficiently.
- Follow material movement orders as directed.
- Operate industrial trucks electric hoists and forklifts to handle and move materials.
- Consistently meet productivity requirements as defined by company work instructions.
- Ensure all work meets established quality standards.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace sustaining 5S requirements.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to teamwork providing input to support project completion efficiently while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Successfully complete forklift training.
- Ability to read and write basic shop communications.
- Competence in using a shop tape measure.
- Basic fabrication shop experience.
