Job Description
Job Title: ShortForm Video Editor (Social Media)
Location: Remote
Role Overview:
We are looking for someone who can seamlessly recreate our established branding and editing style to maintain consistency across all projects. Once vetted we welcome creativity and innovation to elevate our content. Our ideal candidate is adaptable takes direction well and thrives in a candid and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit shortform social media videos (12 minutes) from curated timestamps and project files in Adobe Premiere Pro ensuring alignment with existing branding.
- Condense longer podcast conversations (e.g. 20 minutes) into engaging reflective short clips while maintaining the essence of the discussion.
- Adhere to clientprovided templates and examples ensuring brand consistency across projects.
- Incorporate feedback and implement edits quickly and efficiently with a focus on precision and understanding the “why” behind revisions.
- Adapt to diverse client styles while following detailed directions and overcommunicated expectations.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with a strong understanding of editing workflows for social media platforms.
- C1level English proficiency to ensure clear communication and streamlined execution of ideas.
- Proven ability to replicate established branding and maintain consistency across edits.
- Experience condensing podcaststyle conversations into concise impactful social media content.
- Excellent communication skills able to take criticism constructively and pivot as needed.
- Strong organizational skills capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with podcast production and an ability to streamline longform content into shortform media.
- Experience working remotely in an agencystyle relationship.
- A portfolio showcasing successful social media edits across platforms like Instagram TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Knowledge of trends and best practices in social media video engagement.
