Job Description
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (Allied)
Location: Rochester NY 14617
Pay Rate: $47/hr
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Shift: 8hr Days
Description / Comment :
- Shift: 5x8 Days with one working weekend shift/any shift/month.
- Must be Certified NBSTSA REQUIRED (at the time of submission).
- AHA BLS.
- Must have 2 years of OR experience in an acute care facility.
- Looking for someone with Vascular experience in both hybrid and open surge cases.
- One working weekend shift/any shift/month.
- Expected to work every other holiday.
- Specialty Equipment: Infusion pumps ultrasound machines Laparoscopic Olympus Equipment da Vinci Robot Rosa Robot Monarch Robot (Monarch specialized and not expected) SCDs Bair Hugger Microscopes Neptune smoke evacuators.
- Expectation is they will assist the RN in overturning OR room (Clean prep and mop) if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments and supplies.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care and ensure safety.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and protocols.
- Proficiency in handling and maintaining surgical instruments.
