Title: Operational Technology (OT) Security Design Engineer (Hybrid)
Location: Grand Rapids MI
Duration: 18 Months
Job Description:
Must Have:
- Solid 35 years of OT Security Engineering experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing technology (PLCs and etc)
- Must have experience in an enterprise environment with multisite support
- Experience with NIST CSF and other security framework
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Fortinet Firewalls is a plus
- Any pharma or scientific experience is a plus but not required
Role Overview:
- The OT Security Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing security
- measures for the companys OT environments. This role includes developing network segmentation
- strategies configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls and ensuring the security of industrial
- control systems (ICS) programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other OT infrastructure. The
- engineer will also support the Head of OT Cybersecurity in enhancing security maturity using the
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
Requirements:

- Experience in OT/ICS/PLC cybersecurity designs.
- Proven expertise in OT network segmentation and Fortinet firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF and other relevant security frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of OT security technologies and incident response processes.
- Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of vulnerability management and remediation.
- Problemsolving and analytical skills in OT security environments
