Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Maintain connections with local brokers.
Keeping updated with market rates.
Route planning and keeping notified about vehicle specifications.
Using commercial market knowledge and planning for optimum utilization of market.
Hiring Lorry (Load) from the market for Return Load.
Ideal Experience
Must have 10 Years of Exp. and a minimum of 5 years particularly in lorry hiring from the market.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Expert knowledge of spotting sales opportunity to secure a backload increase revenue and reduce empty trips.
Have maximum connections with local broker market to reduce dead miles and maximize profit.
Should have basic skills about TMS or similar technology for network management & aggregator platforms.
Expert at Pricing and Negotiations.
Should be well informed about transport regulations.
Overall knowledge of load consolidation and effective cost optimization.
Should be expert at operation of loading and unloading process and practices of local markets.
Expert at route planning and optimization skills.
