Full Time Housekeeper/Family PA in Ormskirk Live in or Live Out
A busy family in Ormskirk Lancashire are looking for a Full time Housekeeper to help care for their beautiful home.
Family Background
The family comprises of a lovely friendly couple who have 4 children.Working long hours due to the nature of their work with a busy and demanding lifestyle. The family home is a beautiful large detached house set in its own grounds.
Duties
You should be confident with all housekeeping duties and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as laundry ironing unpacking the groceries running errands such as post office returns wardrobe organising and management changing beds ensuring all rooms are clean tidy and dust free emptying the dishwasher and waste.With 4 children there will be school uniforms and PE kits to organise and ensure they are organised for school the next day and all school admin is kept up to date. You may on occasion be asked to assist with some of the childcare with school pick up.
The successful candidate will manage the home ensuring the kitchen is stocked with groceriesand organised. It is important that you have a positive and cando attitude. You must be happy following instructions as this is a busy household but you must be motivated and happy to work independently.
The successful candidate will be happy to run errands like going grocery shopping to the post office or dry cleaners as needed. You should be confident welcoming contractors to the property such as window cleaners and maintenance people if they are there when you are.
You will be happy to meal plan and cook for the family cooking healthy family dinners.
Location
The house is in Ormskirk Lancashire This is a live in or live out role with separate accommodation provided in the grounds of the family home.
Days/Hours
- Working 4/5 days per week Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
Languages
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
Special Skills
You should have good experience working as a housekeeper in a private household. You should have an eye for detail and a warm & positive attitude.
Start Date
The family are interviewing now for the right candidate to start as soon as possible to start January 2025
