Position: Sr. API Connect (APIC) Developer with IBM Datapower Experience
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:About the Role:
We are seeking a Sr Developer with expertise in API Connect and IBM DataPower to join our team. This is a handson role focused on developing and deploying services across multiple systems. If youre an independent worker who thrives in an Agile environment we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy highvolume lowlatency applications for missioncritical systems.
- Design and implement gateways for API calls across various systems.
- Write welldesigned testable and efficient code.
- Collaborate with IT specialists to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Conduct discovery and factfinding to understand complex business problems.
- Analyze and recommend solutions to development and production issues.
- Stay updated on technology trends and IT best practices.
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Top Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with API Connect and IBM DataPower.
- Strong development skills with a focus on handson work.
- Ability to work independently and attend two weekly team meetings.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and logging updates in Jira.
- Ability to quickly assess the current state and lead new development efforts.
