Role Description
This is a fulltime remote role for a Systems Engineer at a rapidly growing global company. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure and systems. This role requires expertise in systems integration network management and troubleshooting with a focus on optimizing performance security and scalability.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in systems engineering IT infrastructure or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing and configuring operating systems such as Windows Linux or macOS.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols firewalls and VPNs.
- Expertise in scripting or programming languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware HyperV or KVM.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on system performance and security.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
System Design & Implementation:
- Plan design and deploy scalable IT systems and infrastructure to meet business needs.
System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades for servers networks and other IT systems.
- Identify and resolve hardware software and network issues promptly.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and optimize cloudbased solutions ensuring uptime security and cost efficiency.
Network Administration:
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers switches and firewalls.
- Ensure reliable connectivity and efficient data transmission across the organization.
Security Management:
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems against unauthorized access malware and data breaches.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Automation & Scripting:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline IT operations and improve system efficiency.
Documentation & Collaboration:
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure systems align with organizational goals.
Compensation
- $1500 $3000 per month paid in USD depending on experience and skill level.
