Job Description
Position Name Senior Manufacturing Engineer Waste reduction

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for product lines including troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
- Lead and participate in Kaizen events to identify and implement process improvements.
- Conduct process qualifications on manufacturing machines and prepare validation protocols.
- Perform engineering studies using statistical analysis tools and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Investigate nonconformances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Lean Six Sigma principles to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on new product introductions engineering change orders and process optimization projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. A masters degree is preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on process improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong expertise in Root Cause Analysis DMAIC 5S SPC Process Capabilities Takt rate OEE and Kaizen events.
- Proficiency in documenting and writing SOPs Work Instructions and training materials.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to conduct statistical analysis and root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as SolidWorks MS Project Minitab AutoCAD Smartsheet Outlook and Excel.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving significant cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Experience in conducting time studies and implementing lean manufacturing techniques.
