Job Description
Job Title: Immediate Opportunities For Radiologic Technologist (Allied)
Location: Rochester NY 14617
Pay Rate: $66/hr
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 8hr Eve
Guarantee Hours: 40
Description / Comment:
- ARRT Certification required.
- NYS DOH Rad Tech Licensure (prior to start date)An out of state Rad Tech License is allowed as a candidate if aware that they must apply and receive the NYS license prior to their start date.
- Shift: Tuesday thru Saturday evening 8s with rotating weekend call. (Please be sure your candidate is acceptable to this schedule)
- No RTO on Thanksgiving or Christmas
- Minimum of 12 years of travel experience required.
- Strong Fluoroscopy and OR skills Looking for someone who rates high in this area.
- Recent acute care or surgery center experience with portable CARM experience.***
- Moderate Sedation OR ED Trauma and Fluoroscopy Exams.
- Does NOT accept local candidates within 50 miles!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Xrays and other imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment and report any issues.
- Review and interpret images for quality and completeness.
- Document and maintain patient records accurately.
