About the Role
Sutton Housing Partnership is looking to recruit a Housing officer for a year. This role is in a busy team which is the front line service for Sutton Housing Partnership.We are responsible for managing busy Customer Care and Repairs email in boxes and ensuring these a responded to within our service standards. We also triage Housing Management and Repairs calls raise repairs and undertake admin tasks for a busy Housing Management service Identifying vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to ensure all residents can live safely and sustain their tenancies. We are looking for a candidate who relish a challenge and are able to deal with confrontation. You will also need to be creative and demonstrably able to develop solutions to assist residents on our estates. The role may involve some out of hours meetings and will also involve lone working. Daily use of a car and a full driving license is essential.
The main duties of the role are:
- Manage successions assignments mutual exchanges and legal issues
- Manage boundary disputes and damage to property
- Successful management of antisocial behaviour proactive case management negotiation finding solutions updating victims and keeping detailed records
- The successful candidate will need to be a resilient selfstarter who thinks well on their feet in a variety of different often challenging situations
