Job Description
Job Title: Estimator Lightening Protection

We pride ourselves on delivering innovative and costeffective solutions to protect our clients properties from the dangers of lightening strikes.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of lightening protection projects and providing detailed proposals to our clients. This is a fulltime position and ideally you will have an extensive BD network. The right candidate will be an established estimator with business development contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive BD strategy to identify and engage potential clients including architects engineers contractors and facility managers emphasising the benefits of the company lightening protection product portfolio
Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and materials required for lightening protection systems
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess potential challenges
Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials labor and equipment
Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to develop project proposals that meet client needs and budget
Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and address any questions or concerns
Continuously monitor project costs and provide updates to the team as needed
Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in lightening protection technology
Participate in networking events and develop relationships with potential clients through our BDM network
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry preferably in lightening protection
Strong knowledge of lightening protection systems and materials
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
