Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) Consultant with strong proficiency in the Japanese language. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of SAP FICO modules and experience in supporting financial processes managing financial data and ensuring seamless integration within an SAP environment. The ability to communicate in Japanese is essential for interacting with clients based in Japan understanding local business processes and handling documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

SAP FICO Module Implementation & Support:
- Lead and assist in the implementation configuration and support of SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting and Controlling).
- Configure and customize SAP FICO to meet business requirements related to financial management cost control and accounting.
- Support and maintain financial processes such as General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Asset Accounting and Controlling (Cost Center Profit Center Internal Orders etc.).

Client Communication & Documentation (Japanese):
- Serve as the main point of contact for Japanesespeaking clients understanding their financial needs and business processes and providing appropriate SAP FICO solutions.
- Communicate with Japanese clients and internal stakeholders in Japanese ensuring clear and accurate project updates technical discussions and requirements gathering.
- Prepare and deliver documentation presentations and user manuals in Japanese ensuring that all materials meet the clients language and business needs.

Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including finance IT and procurement to ensure the successful implementation and integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules.
- Provide project leadership and contribute to project planning timeline estimation and resource allocation.
- Manage SAP FICO project deliverables ensuring alignment with business objectives budget and timelines.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Troubleshoot complex SAP FICO issues and provide ongoing support to clients in the financial accounting and controlling areas.
- Resolve user issues and work closely with users to ensure that SAP FICO processes meet business needs and comply with accounting standards.

Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Perform system testing for SAP FICO configurations and ensure that the system meets business requirements.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Japanese clients ensuring proper execution and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards in the Japanese market during system testing and implementation.

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization within SAP FICO modules to streamline financial and accounting operations.
- Stay uptodate with the latest SAP FICO enhancements industry trends and best practices to provide highquality solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:
- 4 years of experience with SAP FICO including fullcycle implementations and postimplementation support.
- Prior experience in handling financial accounting and controlling processes within SAP FICO.
- Experience in working with Japanese clients or in a Japanesespeaking environment is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP FICO including modules such as General Ledger (FIGL) Accounts Payable (FIAP) Accounts Receivable (FIAR) Asset Accounting (FIAA) Cost Center Accounting (COCCA) Profit Center Accounting (COPCA) and Internal Orders (COIO).
- Handson experience in configuring SAP FICO resolving issues and providing functional support.
- Familiarity with integration of SAP FICO with other modules such as SAP MM SAP SD and SAP WM.

Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in Japanese (written and spoken) is a must. Must be able to effectively communicate complex financial processes and SAP functionality in Japanese to clients and teams.
- Proficiency in English is also required for collaboration with global teams and documentation.

Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address complex financial accounting and controlling issues.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in Japanese and English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
- SAP FICO certification is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Ability to travel to Japan or work in a hybrid/remote environment with flexible working hours.
- Familiarity with Japanese financial regulations and accounting standards is a significant advantage.
- Understanding of Japanese business culture and work ethics is preferred.
