Job Description
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (Allied)
Location: Watertown NY 13601
Pay Rate: $48/hr
Duration: 6 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Shift: Days

- ASAP START
- 60 MILE RADIUS RULE
- 6 weeks
- 12hr Days
- Weekend call and holidays required
- 7a7:30p
- May be asked to precept new staff
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible
- Knowledge in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting.
- BLS required.
- Qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine & delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department.
- Candidate will perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel including precise & efficient reaction to all situations & assist with departmental work as assigned.
- Surgical techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly & safely as well as assisting surgeons during surgical procedures
- Must arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in.
