Job Description
Location: London (Hybrid)
Type: Permanent Fulltime
As a Project Manager specializing in web and mobile application development you will oversee the endtoend management of dynamic projects ensuring timely delivery adherence to scope and alignment with business objectives. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams you will drive efficiency and innovation leveraging Agile methodologies to deliver highquality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocations.
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor progress proactively identify risks and implement solutions to address issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and meet quality standards.
Technical Coordination:
- Partner with development teams to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Facilitate technical discussions to resolve challenges and drive effective decisionmaking.
- Stay informed on web and mobile app development trends to provide strategic insights.
Agile Implementation:
- Lead teams in adopting Agile methodologies to enhance collaboration and project efficiency.
- Utilize Agile tools like Jira and Confluence for task tracking and workflow optimization.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and feedback loops.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders providing regular updates on project progress.
- Collect and incorporate stakeholder feedback into project deliverables.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with business needs.
PostLaunch Support:
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of applications postlaunch.
- Collaborate with support teams to prioritize and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation including user guides release notes and training materials.
Technical Skills and Tools
Project Management Expertise:
- Proficient in Agile and Scrum frameworks with practical experience managing sprints and backlogs.
- Skilled in using project management tools such as Jira Confluence and Trello.
Technical Acumen:
- Solid understanding of web and mobile app development technologies including frontend and backend frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
PostLaunch Support:
- Experience managing support and maintenance workflows prioritizing bug fixes and deploying updates effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing web and mobile app development projects.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage crossfunctional teams.
- Certifications in Agile (CSM PSM PMIACP) or Project Management (PMP PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence) for project tracking and documentation.
- Familiarity with usercentered design principles and experience collaborating with UX/UI teams.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Exceptional facilitation skills for productive meetings and workshops.
