Summary
This position provides comprehensive finance and accounting support in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include handson cost accounting general ledger management reconciliations financial reporting and fixed asset management. The role is critical in partnering with site leadership to deliver valuable financial insights and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain entries in the general ledger.
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Manage fixed asset transactions depreciation and capital equipment budgets.
- Ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
- Lead or contribute to the preparation of forecasts sales revenue cost reports and departmental budgets.
- Conduct quarterly SOX compliance audits.
- Provide financial analysis recommend solutions and contribute to strategic financial planning.
- Serve as a mentor for junior team members and function as a backup in the absence of finance management.
Requirements
Qualifications
MustHave:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent relevant experience).
- 10 years of experience in accounting particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in general ledger accounting reconciliations financial reporting and fixed asset management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Direct experience in manufacturing processes preferably electronics or PCB.
NicetoHave:
- CPA certification.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance.
