Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manage and execute the procurement process for technical equipment spare parts and consumables specific to cruise vessels ensuring timely delivery.

Identify evaluate and establish relationships with local and international suppliers focusing on cost quality and delivery reliability.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the technical department to forecast requirements avoiding stock shortages or overstocking.

Negotiate pricing terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve costeffective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Ensure all purchases comply with international maritime regulations company policies and cruise industry standards.

Prepare and maintain purchase orders supplier contracts and other relevant documentation with accuracy and efficiency.

Track and manage procurement budgets ensuring alignment with operational and technical needs.

Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance based on delivery times quality and service levels.

Work closely with technical superintendents vessel managers and other stakeholders to meet operational requirements efficiently.

Address and resolve procurementrelated issues such as delays or quality discrepancies to ensure seamless operations.




Requirements


Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Maritime Studies or a related field.

Minimum 3 years experience in procurement or technical purchasing

Familiarity with marine equipment spare parts and technical specifications required for cruise vessels.

Able to communicate well with local and international suppliers.

Strong problemsolving and negotiation skills with the ability to analyze supplier proposals and optimize procurement strategies.
