About the Role

As a Front Office Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless guest experiences from checkin to checkout. You will supervise daily front office operations inspire your team to deliver exceptional service and embody RIUs commitment to creating memorable stays for every guest.

What Youll Do

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise all aspects of front office activities including checkins checkouts reservations and guest inquiries ensuring efficient and smooth service delivery.
  • Deliver Unparalleled Guest Service: Lead by example in providing warm professional and personalized service to guests promptly addressing concerns and resolving issues to exceed expectations.
  • Motivate and Support the Team: Train mentor and motivate front office staff fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
  • Monitor and Improve Performance: Conduct regular team briefings evaluate staff performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Coordinate with Departments: Act as a liaison between the front office and other hotel departments ensuring smooth communication and collaboration to meet guest needs.
  • Ensure Compliance with Policies: Uphold RIUs operational standards guest service protocols and safety policies ensuring compliance by all front office staff.
  • Handle Guest Feedback and Complaints: Proactively manage feedback resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Oversee daily reports manage room inventory and monitor occupancy levels to optimize operations and revenue.

What Were Looking For

  • Professional Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a front office team preferably in a fivestar hotel or luxury resort.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests team members and management fostering positive relationships.
  • Strong Leadership Abilities: A confident and motivating leader who can inspire the team to deliver outstanding service consistently.
  • ProblemSolving Expertise: Proactive and resourceful with the ability to handle guest concerns and operational challenges with poise and efficiency.
  • Organizational Excellence: Attention to detail multitasking abilities and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service.
  • Knowledge of Systems: Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g. Opera Fidelio) and front office operations.
  • Flexibility and Resilience: Adaptability to work in a fastpaced environment with a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and French is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a significant advantage for serving an international clientele.
