Job Description
Our client is seeking a Claims Auditor to join an innovative and international team based in Luxembourg. Tasks
- Coordinate claims processes with partners.
- Conduct onboarding due diligence and audits with thirdparty administrators (TPAs) or claims departments of partners.
- Oversee claim management ensuring compliance with best practices across all phases of claims handling including coverage investigation compensability evaluation recovery and resolution.
- Collaborate with partners pricing and reporting actuaries to analyze claims data detect trends and evaluate product adjustments.
- Actively contribute to process optimization and streamlining efforts.
- Participate in the evaluation of reserves guidelines and validate claims payments when necessary.
- Provide monthly KPIs in collaboration with actuaries and assist with dashboard preparation.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role (several years).
- Solid understanding of insurance policies coverage provisions and claims processes.
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus). Additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience with various types of insurance (e.g. property casualty motor liability).
- Analytical abilities to assess claims data and trends with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Customer orientation critical thinking proactivity and agility in a complex environment.
- Occasional business trips to Luxembourg if working on a freelance basis.
- Bachelors degree and more than 2 years of experience in claims auditing.
