Key Responsibilities for Local CDLA Driver
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within a designated region.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to clients and company destinations.
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety.
- Maintain electronic logs of truck driving activities in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers staff and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications for CDLA Driver Position
- Valid CDLA drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 Months of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Attributes for Ideal Candidates
- Experience with a variety of freight types.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
- Certification in basic vehicle repair and maintenance.
