Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Plumbing Mechanic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing repairing and maintaining various types of pumps plumbing systems and related equipment. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing principles mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install repair and maintain various types of pumps including centrifugal submersible and booster pumps.
- Inspect troubleshoot and diagnose pump and plumbing system issues to identify root causes and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of pumps and plumbing systems repair and replace plumbing fixtures pipes valves as needed.
- Test and calibrate pumps to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Detect and repair leaks in Plumbing systems conduct pressure test and leak checks to ensure plumbing systems meet regulatory standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain communication with dispatch your manager parts and installation teams.
- Keep your truck inventory up to date.
- Properly complete paperwork.
- Join the oncall rotation.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Participate in training allows you to grow and develop as a professional.
- Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a pump plumber plumbing mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems pumps and related equipment.
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools equipment and diagnostic devices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
