We are looking for a/a Planning Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. This strategic position will require planning coordination and project supervision to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Location and Work Mode

Location:Barcelona
Work Mode:Hybrid with 3 days of remote work and flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a schedule in alignment with the selected execution strategy.
  • Define and optimise necessary resources.
  • Define the Planning and Scheduling system (methods procedures schedules physical progress dashboards etc.).
  • Implement the Planning and Scheduling system (methods procedures schedules physical progress dashboards etc.).
  • Define the projects work breakdown structures.
  • Plan to ensure work fronts are ready onsite.
  • Plan to mitigate risks and reduce costs.
  • Obtain client approval for the baseline schedule.
  • Obtain client approval for claimed progress or milestone achievements that permit billing.
  • Enhance project team awareness of project milestones key durations and critical paths.
  • Monitor project status detect delays and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve Planning and Scheduling methods and incorporate data into the Planning departments statistics.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry (onshore/offshore and/or subsea).
  • Advanced knowledge of EPCm and EPC work processes.
  • Experience in cost control (not mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Project).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Proficiency in English both spoken and written minimum level B2.
  • Proficiency in French or German is highly valued (not mandatory).
