Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Battery Energy Storage System projects through their entire lifecycle from preconstruction to development. This role plays a pivotal part in optimizing project variables for technical and financial feasibility ensuring seamless execution and delivery of BESS projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams to meet project schedules.
- Collaborate with environmental regulatory and land acquisition teams to integrate project variables.
- Develop technical scopes and optimize project variables for improved feasibility.
- Support negotiation processes for Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Grid Interconnection Agreements (GIA).
- Manage engineering estimating and procurement requirements.
- Provide technical support for design development and cost estimation.
- Utilize market data to ensure financial models are robust and align with project goals.
- Execute commercial contracts for critical services including geotechnical survey and construction.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management or Finance/Accounting.
- 5 years of experience in project management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- PMP Certification (preferred).
- Experience with renewable energy projects (preferred).
