Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our growing tech team. This role focuses on designing building and maintaining the infrastructure required for optimal data retrieval transformation and storage. You will collaborate with data scientists software developers and stakeholders to enhance and streamline the data processing efforts ensuring the availability and reliability of our data systems. This position demands a strong commitment to data integrity scalability and security.
Key Responsibilities for a Data Engineer
- Design build and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and models.
- Optimize and troubleshoot complex queries in Postgres and BigQuery.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and address data needs enabling strategic datadriven decisions.
- Ensure data integrity and quality across multiple sources while managing largescale datasets.
Essential Data Engineer Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in setting up data pipelines ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL including data modeling and query optimization.
- Handson experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
- Proven track record working at highperforming startups scaleups or FAANGlevel organizations.
- Ability to work fulltime onsite in London (West End) five days a week.
Preferred Data Engineer Skills
- Familiarity with Redis.
- Experience working with Solana or other onchain data.
- Knowledge of the crypto industry or prior experience in a fastmoving crypto company.
- Background in working at FAANGlevel organizations or equivalent environments.
