Job Description
Position Summary
We are looking for an accomplished Reliability Maintenance and Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our teams in delivering safe efficient and innovative engineering and maintenance solutions. This critical leadership role is focused on driving operational excellence ensuring compliance and implementing strategies that align with our longterm business objectives. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a strong technical background and a passion for developing people and processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for Reliability Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure safe efficient and highquality operations.
- Oversee multiple engineering and maintenance projects from inception to completion meeting scope schedule and budget requirements.
- Manage capital and major maintenance expenditures ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of approved funds.
- Lead diverse teams including Plant Engineering Furnace Maintenance Engineering and Facilities Maintenance fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Design and implement engineered solutions to address safety environmental and operational challenges.
- Establish and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs tailored to operational needs.
- Coordinate and oversee equipment and facility upgrades including installation commissioning and startup processes.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 5year operational strategy incorporating growth sustainability and maintenance projects.
- Mentor and develop engineering and maintenance staff cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit standards including ISO and IATF requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in heavy manufacturing industries ideally metals.
- 59 years of project management experience.
- 35 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong decisionmaking skills in complex fastpaced environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor develop and inspire team members.
Preferred Attributes
- Expertise in manufacturing processes such as casting hot rolling cold rolling mill finishing or facilities management.
- 1012 years of project management experience.
- 8 years of supervisory experience in engineering or maintenance roles.
