Job Description

Position Summary: The Information Technology (IT) Specialist ensures that the agencys computer hardware software and other IT infrastructure meet our program needs. Duties include purchasing maintaining and tracking equipment managing user accounts and subscriptions implementing security bestpractices to protect agency assets and confidential information monitoring and updating software and databases as needed producing reports on schedule and on demand anticipating needs and making recommendations for future investments to improve efficiency and effectiveness coordinating with service providers contractors and other vendors to ensure continuous IT services and minimal interruptions troubleshooting problems providing regular technical support and ensuring consistent highquality customer service.

Expected Schedule:MondayFriday 8:00a 4:30p
Rate of Pay: HS/GED: $15.86 Credentialed: $17.12 AA: 18.40 BA or Higher: $20.94
Education Requirement:Minimum High School diploma and 5 years of relevant experience.Preferred Associates Degree in related field and 2 years of relevant experience.Desired Bachelors Degree in related field and 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications:Mastery of Microsoft Office 365 applications file sharing information security and basic office IT systems.Strong organizational skills problemsolving and decisionmaking
Other Selection Criteria:All candidates must complete a preemployment drug screen physical examination and comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check and possess a valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation.
