Job Description

Join Our Team as a Project Engineer / Project Coordinator Building Works

Were seeking a Project Engineer/Project Coordinator to support building works and drive continuous improvement in our project delivery systems. This role is perfect for someone who combines technical engineering knowledge with strong business acumen and appreciates making systems as simple as possible and as complicated as necessary.

About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer/Project Coordinator to join our company. The role involves coordinating construction projects from inception to completion with a focus on improving operational systems managing client relationships and ensuring effective project documentation and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contract and client relationships including tracking and processing Purchase Orders Invoices and Contract Variations
  • Develop and improve operational systems for project tracking cost controlling and scheduling
  • Set up and maintain project schedules using MS Project and other project management tools
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including clients suppliers and construction teams
  • Support financial business processes including budgeting and cost forecasting
  • Assist with team coordination and resource management
  • Prepare and present project documentation and status reports

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field) with Business knowledge preferred
  • Experience in project coordination or similar role within construction/industrial settings
  • Strong systems and process improvement capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Project Excel and database management
  • Experience with cost control and contract management
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of construction processes and safety requirements
