Job Description
Position: IT Manager
Location: Bogota Colombia
Employment type: Fulltime
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain IT systems including firewalls routers servers and storage.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices VLANs routing protocols and VPNs
- Manage DHCP DNS load balancing and optimize network performance and scalability
- Oversee server (Windows/Linux) performance backups disaster recovery and data integrity
- Implement and manage security protocols firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Lead IT teams ensure 24x7 system availability and manage incident response
- Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects managing budgets and resources
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced proficiency in English both written and spoken
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role
- Extensive experience with firewalls routers switches and server management
- Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (BGP OSPF) NAT VLANs and network security
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
- Experience with Linux systems
- Proven ability to manage a 24x7 IT support environment
- Strong leadership communication and project management skills
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) would be considered a plus
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator would be considered a plus
- ITIL Foundation certification would be considered a plus
