VHIR offers vacant position for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Biomedical Research in Urology.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- PhD in the area of biomedical sciences
- Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English
- Good qualifications
Desired:
- Knowledge of bioinformatic tools
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Publication as a coauthor in a peerreviewed journal or demonstrated scientific background
- Experience in molecular biology and cancer biology
- A degree of independence and teamwork skills
Desired:
- Experience in genomic techniques (WES NGS exomesequencing)
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Provide support for the tasks needed in the context of the Flute project to fulfil the aims.
- Collaborate in the European project Flute aiming to accurately discriminate between indolent and aggressive prostate cancer.
Labour conditions:
- Fulltime position: 40h/week
- Starting date: January 2025
- Gross annual salary: 24.78540 euros
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
