About the role
We areseeking a Producibility Engineer to join our customer in Kumla. This is a key role focused on optimizing the design and manufacturability of PCBs and PBAs. Working closely with crossfunctional global teams you will act as a bridge between product development and production. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cuttingedge technology and collaborate with experienced colleagues in a supportive and innovative environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Design for Manufacturingreviews to ensure PCB and PBA designs are optimized for production.
- Support and improve design layouts to address production challenges and ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with global teams in China Estonia and the USA to align solutions across multiple production sites.
- Use and enhance design rules to improve producibility and tackle designtoproduction issues.
- Ensure smooth handovers of production solutions to execution teams.
Who are you
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- Minimum aBachelors degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Work experience within DFM or related field.
- Familiarity with PCB/PBA design and manufacturing processes including layout optimization.
- Familiarity in relevant software tools for PCB/PBA design and optimization.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written)
