Job Description

Its an exciting time at Crossbeam. We have just joined forces with Reveal to change the way companies gotomarket. The merger has earned the support of some of the worlds best investors: Andreessen Horowitz Insight Partners Redpoint FirstMark and even Salesforce and HubSpot Ventures (yep the biggest CRMs are investing in the future of gotomarket).

Combined our unified company has created a powerful network of 25K companies a team of worldclass talent an innovative product roadmap and a North Star vision of creating a bestofbothworlds customer experience.

What is Crossbeam

Crossbeam is the first and largest EcosystemLed Growth platform. We act as an escrow service for data allowing companies to find overlapping customers and prospects with their partners while keeping the rest of their data private and secure. Companies use this data to sell more effectively market to the right audiences build the right products collaborate with their service partners generate demand inform M&A and more. This has created an entirely new way of doing business called EcosystemLed Growth or ELGand it works: 40% of our customers closed deals come from their ecosystem.

Were looking for a design leader to join our product organization. Collaborating closely with every area of our business in order to deliver a beautiful and delightful user experience.

Youll be reporting to the Chief Product Officer.


YOUR MISSIONS WILL BE

  • Our Head of Product Design will be responsible for the following:
  • Coach and inspire a team of product designers across all areas of Crossbeam product roadmap. Continuously mentor designers in order to ensure collaboration and growth.
  • Deeply infuse our company and product strategy into design execution ensuring the team is laser focused on driving business outcomes for our core personas.
  • Consistently acquire deep understanding of product requirements in order to lead and guide the team towards high quality product design deliverables across all functional areas.
  • Provide significant contributions to Crossbeam design culture by establishing a design process focused on world class outcomes in interaction design and in user experience design.
  • Uphold design principles and expand our guidelines to make sure that new solutions are consistent in their style and design language.
  • Work with the design team in order to establish and maintain Crossbeam product brand and Crossbeam product design system. Collaborate with our marketing and brand teams in order to ensure consistency between company brand and product brand.
  • Perform competitive analysis of product design and continuously improve Crossbeam user experience as a key competitive differentiator.
  • Collaborate with product management and with engineering during all phases of our product development lifecycle.
  • Use the deep understanding of user personas in order to design impactful user journeys within Crossbeam solutions.
  • Work with our gotomarket organization in order to embed the voice of the customer into our design process and to ensure design continuity.
  • Implement metric driven assessment of user experience and user behavior.
  • Develop communication and storytelling processes in order to continuously build trust in our design process and in our design outcomes.
  • Be a leader who is also willing to roll up the sleeves and execute in the startup environment.
  • Collaborate with various remote teams including teams located in Europe and India time zones. Be willing to travel occasionally in order to participate in team and company meetings.


HIRING PROCESS

We go through the same interview steps for all Director of Product Design candidates to ensure equity in our hiring process. Our process is designed to learn as much about each candidate as possible as well as to give candidates access to our team and learn about what its like to be a team member at Crossbeam. Topics will range from technical skills to problemsolving approaches and collaboration.

  • HR interview 30 minutes

  • Interview with the Chief Product Officer 30 minutes

  • Interview with the VP of Product 30 minutes

  • Culture fit: meeting with the 3 Product Designers individually 30 minutes each

  • Interview with the CEO 30 minutes

*This role has been categorized as a Remote position. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and instead work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to Crossbeam. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States with limited exceptions. In certain cases an employee in a remotedesignated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In Colorado Connecticut Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is 225.000$ OTE annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado Connecticut Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience performance and location.
