We are currently seeking two highly competent Contract Engineer to join our team in Istanbul Trkiye. This individual will be at the heart of our contractual agreements ensuring seamless execution and upholding our legacy of efficiency and sustainability in the marine sector.

Job Description
As a Contract Engineer you will lead and manage the progression of an order from contract signing to commissioning completed and hand over of equipment to customer. You are responsible for management of the orders in accordance with scope of supply delivery schedule and terms and conditions agreed in the contract. You will be the interface and work closely together with the Sales Department and Production to ensure contract execution.
At times you will make visits to the customer and shipyard to review the delivery schedules and provide updates to the business or the customer if necessary. You will also liaise with the service engineers/service manager for installation assistance.
You should be able to lead technical discussions with external interfaces with comfort and confidence.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Efficient order management which includes project scheduling lead and coordinate the project/commercial team and suppliers as well as to ensure correct scope of supply including both trading and main equipment.
- Assess and highlight to the management risks involved with specific orders
- Provide drawings and technical data to customers
- Follow up on letter of credit with customer and Finance department
- Liaise with the service department for installation assistance to yard
- Ensuring the delivery and accuracy of all documentation to customers (i.e. installation manuals service manuals certificates etc.)
- Interact and coordinate with other departments and suppliers such as sales teams engineering core competence contract custom design production class societies subsuppliers etc.
- Work with subsuppliers to find right products to include in our scope.
- Prepare shafting arrangements TVC data and drawings
- Ensure quality time and cost deliveries
- Excellent planning communication and analytical skills

Who you are

- Have good technical background with an interest in marine and marine engineering
- A university degree in Naval Architecture / Ship Building / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience from the marine industry is a benefit but not a requirement
- We are looking for someone who is customer focused and result oriented thriving on challenges.
- An ability to manage many ongoing activities simultaneously
- Fast learner able to adopt your style and approach to a new working environment
- Challengedriven; not afraid to take responsibility and operate successfully in a highly competitive and dynamic market
- You would describe your self as a person with high social skill well organized and very business minded who takes initiatives and understands the value of delivering high quality.
- You enjoy sharing experiences and knowledge with the team as well as working with a diversity of tasks and learning new areas.
