OCU Modus Limited (Part of the OCU Group) are currently looking for a Contracts Managerto join our team.
As our Contracts Manager youll beresponsible for ensuring all operational functions are undertaken inaccordance with the OCU Modus Limited policies and procedures and requirements for any contractsthat the role is responsible for. This role will include the direct management of a team consisting ofthe following roles Senior Project Manager Project Manager and HV Electrical Designer / DesignManager functions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide operational support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing risk managementand governance
- Manage all activities associated with ICP infrastructure projects in line with our NERSaccreditation
- Monitor and manage the performance of OCU Modus Ltd direct staff and subcontractors withrespect to the required standards of Health and Safety Quality and the Environment
- Ensure all OCU Modus Ltd and client processes are followed to minimise WIP in Progress (WIP outstanding cash) and keep WIP within the contract and business targets
- Engage in the monthly cost and value reconciliation
- Maximise revenue and profit from the ICP infrastructure projects through identifyingopportunities for cost savings and/or additional chargeable activities
- Be an affective negotiator internally and externally at levels up to Director level
- Provide operational support in the procurement of all subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure the timely production and document control of all as built and progress records for anycontracts that the role is responsible for
- Be the face of OCU Modus Ltd for all client and contractor operational issues
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team members and foster a positive team culture
- Ensure instructed projects are tracked and managed against key milestones through tocompletion to facilitate accurate forecasting of work and resources
- Plan recruit and coordinate all operational resources for current and future works
- Ensure that timely actions are taken to protect OCU Modus Ltd contractually / commercially forany delays in agreed programmes
- Build and maintain constructive and open relationships with clients and stakeholders

- A deep understanding of the electrical distribution industry including trends competitors andmarket conditions
Skills &Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in operations management in the electrical distribution industry
- A Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering construction management or other construction/ electrical related subject
- SMSTS Qualification or equivalent (essential)
- CSCS Qualification or equivalent
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate
- IOSH Certificate in managing Health and Safety or equivalent
- ECS Qualification or equivalent (essential)
- Full UK Drivers Licence(essential)
