Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails) to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications integrating userfacing elements with serverside logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable code.
- Integrate userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with serverside logic.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate these issues.
- Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails and Python/Django.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL).
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
