Job Summary
Our client a leading social marketing organization is seeking an experienced Business Development/Sales Consultant to expand their family planning business in Zambia. This role is crucial in driving sales growth enhancing marketing strategies facilitating product registration and supporting overall operations. The consultant will work to strengthen the organization s market presence while contributing to revenue growth and business development objectives.
Responsibilities
- Sales Development: Develop and execute strategies to increase market share of family planning products targeting healthcare providers pharmacies NGOs and other stakeholders.
- Marketing Initiatives: Design and implement marketing campaigns conduct market research and enhance brand positioning.
- Product Registration and Portfolio Management: Coordinate with regulatory authorities for product registration and identify opportunities to expand the product portfolio.
- Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships develop proposals and manage client relationships.
- Operations Support: Provide data recommendations and reports to regional leads in finance procurement marketing and programs.
- Training: Conduct regular training sessions to build the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in sales marketing or business development preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector. Proven success in achieving sales targets.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing Healthcare Management or related fields. A Master s degree is a plus.
- Skills: Strategic planning market analysis customer relationship management problemsolving leadership and regulatory knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Zambian healthcare market and regulatory environment.
- Other: Legal right to work in Zambia.
