Job Description
Urgently seeking a detailoriented Junior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team with a target hire date before January 1 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 0 1 year of experience to gain handson exposure in accounting and financial coordination within a dynamic global environment.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
- A degree in B.Com B.A. in Finance Accounting or related fields.
- 0 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to India US and Canada time zones as required.
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial management tools.
- Excellent organizational time management and communication skills.
NiceToHave:
- Experience with tools like Gusto and QuickBooks.
- Detailoriented with a proactive problemsolving mindset.
- Exposure to working in global teams is a plus.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and track basic invoices accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Manage payment processing using Gusto QuickBooks or similar tools.
- Work with the AR team to oversee AP workflows.
- Update and maintain monthly vendor payment schedules.
- Ensure all financial records and spreadsheets are precise and up to date.
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments with the internal finance team.
- Ensure Statements of Work (SOWs) are up to date for relevant invoices.
