Aftermarket Technical Sales Manager Marine
(Based in Busan Korea)
ORGANISATION:
This is a newly created position and you will be reporting to the General Manager based in Korea. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aftermarket Technical Sales Manager to lead our customer outreach efforts in the Far East Asia region. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and promoting all aftermarket service activities with a strong focus on additional equipment and upgrades for installed machinery in the region. This role involves managing ongoing upgrade projects maintaining close contact with key customers and promoting longterm service support agreements. You will be responsible for the service engineers deployment on project and repair work along with remote technical support.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement marketing programs and sales pitch to increase the spare parts and services sales revenue.
Identify and pursue aftermarket sales opportunities including equipment upgrades services and government projects.
Develop strategies to grow spare parts and services revenue with existing clients.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and discussions on upcoming new build projects upgrades or service support.
Facilitate internal technical and commercial bid review and support the management team to maximise potential to win the business post bidding.
Promote longterm service support agreements and other aftermarket opportunities to enhance customer loyalty and revenue streams.
Develop exclusive government aftermarket sales strategies leveraging the installed base of government assets.
Oversee service engineers deployment and provide remote technical support.
Promote service agreements manage repair projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
Update customerrelated activities including calls visits and sales in the company CRM system.
Collaborate with internal teams across APAC region and factory in Europe.
Support and advice service and sales team in how to position spare parts offering and services offering.
Update customer related calls visits and part and service sales related activities in company CRM system.
YOUR PROFILE:
A degree in marine mechanical electrical or mechatronics engineering.
At least 5 years of technical sales support experience in the marine machinery industry.
Technically competent and passionate about understanding and meeting clients requirements.
Analytical and good in visualizing clients requirements and coming up with solutions.
Socially confident proactively able to build relationships with customers to explore opportunities for aftermarket sales.
Comfortable with some level of travel (around 20 %) outside of Korea.
Passionate about machinery and engineering and striving to achieve operational excellence.
Dedicated service mindset with strong commercial sensitivity and customer focus.
Proficiency in English with the ability to present your ideas to various stakeholders.
