Job Title: Inventory & Receiving Manager

Compensation: $18.00 $24.00 per hour OT
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Inventory & Receiving Manager to oversee and streamline the endtoend inventory management process while leading the receiving department in our ecommerce warehouse. This critical role ensures optimal stock levels accurate tracking and smooth coordination across departments to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Oversee daily inventory operations including receiving storage stock movement cycle counting and dispatching to maintain smooth workflows.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits cycle counts and reporting ensuring stock integrity and timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with procurement sales and production teams to forecast demand manage stock replenishment and align inventory strategies with business needs.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends forecast future requirements and recommend process improvements to optimize operations.
- Manage receiving department staff by providing training performance feedback and leadership to ensure efficient and accurate receipt inspection and storage of inventory.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders invoices and packing slips resolving discrepancies damages or shortages with vendors and logistics partners.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all inventory and receiving operations ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to SOPs and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Implement strategies to reduce excess stock deadstock and obsolescence ensuring inventory turnover KPIs are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory reporting and coordinate with crossfunctional teams for data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all inventory and receiving operations comply with safety and regulatory standards fostering a secure and OSHAcompliant working environment.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure the proper storage and handling of sensitive or highvalue items.
- Track and report inventory KPIs such as turnover rates carrying costs and stock discrepancies while achieving defined performance metrics including maintaining receiving accuracy rates above 99.5% receiving cycle times under 2 hours and docktostock times under 4 hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and ERP software
- 5 years of experience in inventory management
- 3 years of experience in warehouse receiving management.
- Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to stand for longperiods of time
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Live within a commutable distance to warehouse
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ecommerce warehouse operations.
- Worked for companies like Amazon Wayfair Walmart or similar warehouse environments
- Worked for companies within the Fragrance Manufacturing and Distribution industries
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
