Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP EHS Consultant to take responsibility for various key tasks including requirement analysis functional and technical design application development testing deployment and support. The successful candidate will handle incident resolution perform root cause analysis (RCA) provide temporary/permanent fixes and coordinate with users for incident resolution in the SAP EHS (Environment Health and Safety) domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis and Functional Design: Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional design specifications. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand their needs.

  • Technical Design and Development: Support the development of technical designs and help implement the required technical solutions based on functional designs.

  • Testing Deployment & Support: Participate in all stages of testing deployment and postdeployment support ensuring smooth application performance. Address and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Incident Management and RCA (Root Cause Analysis): Manage incidents and support problem management processes. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and provide temporary or permanent fixes.

  • Application Development in GTS & SD: Develop and support applications in Global Trade Services (GTS) and Sales and Distribution (SD) areas.

  • EndUser Support: Coordinate with users for resolution and ensure prompt closure of incidents. Assist endusers with queries analyze problems and work with the incident resolution team to find solutions.



Requirements

MustHave Skills & Experience:

  1. SAP EHS Expertise: Proven experience with SAP Environment Health and Safety (EHS) module including integration with other SAP modules.

  2. EHS Expert Server & Word Processor: Knowledge of SAP EHS Expert Server and Word Processor for generating MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and labels.

  3. SAP HCM/HR: Familiarity with SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) or Human Resources (HR) modules.

  4. SAPPLM EHS Management Implementation: Experience in implementing SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for EHS including Product Safety and Stewardship.

  5. Hazardous Materials & Dangerous Goods Management: Experience with dangerous goods management hazardous goods management and specification management in SAP.

  6. MSDS/Label Generation & Business Process Definition: Experience in MSDS/Label generation business process definition and data migration.

  7. Customizing & EHS Enhancements: Good understanding of EHSrelated enhancements technical setups and customizing within SAP.

  8. Report Template Design & Programming: Experience in designing and programming report templates especially for occupational health industrial hygiene and safety reporting.

  9. Accident & Incident Reporting: Experience in accident and incident reporting SARA reporting (Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act).

  10. Integration Knowledge: Ability to integrate SAP EHS with other SAP modules such as Logistics Sales Production Material Management and Quality Management.

  11. Chemical Prohibition & Substance Volume Tracking: Knowledge in chemical prohibition regulations and substance volume tracking.

  12. Additional Module Expertise: Experience in additional SAP modules preferably in Production Planning or Plant Maintenance.

  13. EHSM Configuration: Knowledge of configuration in EHSM (Environment Health and Safety Management) components including Product Compliance Incident Management Risk Assessment and Hazardous Substance Management.

  14. Communication & Analytical Skills: Strong communication skills excellent analytical abilities and problemsolving capabilities. Ability to understand new tasks quickly.

  15. EndUser Support: Ability to support endusers for queries analyze issues and coordinate with the incident resolution team to ensure quick resolution.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Debugging Skills: Ability to debug issues in the SAP environment.

  2. Integration with MM and FI: Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Financial Accounting (FI) module integration.

  3. Requirement Gathering & Solution Delivery: Ability to interact with business users write functional design documents and deliver solutions within deadlines.
