This role is for a January 2025 start
We are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious international school in Yangon Myanmar which is part of a renowned group of schools dedicated to providing exceptional British education worldwide. Known for their commitment to academic excellence innovative teaching practices and holistic student development this school delivers a rigorous IGCSE and A Level curriculum in a vibrant and supportive learning environment. They are currently seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join their Business Studies department inspiring students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of educators and play a key role in delivering the IGCSE and A Level Business Studies curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant international environment that values innovation collaboration and studentcentered learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality lessons that cater to the needs of a diverse student body.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Prepare students for IGCSE and A Level examinations ensuring they meet or exceed expected outcomes.
- Participate actively in school events parent meetings and extracurricular activities as part of the school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE or equivalent.
- A degree in Business Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Business Studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in international education or working in culturally diverse settings.
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance learning.
