Job Description
Our client a leading company in the FMCG industry in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Retail Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Odoo 16/17. The ideal candidate should have indepth knowledge of business financial and marketing modules along with handson experience in configuring and maintaining Odoo systems. The role involves analyzing business processes designing solutions and configuring the system to improve efficiency productivity and profitability
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business processes related to retail operations including POS procurement inventory recipe management pricing and promotions and ecommerce.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their requirements and objectives serving as a liaison between business units and IT to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Implement configure and maintain Odoo 16/17 business financial and marketing modules.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Provide training and support to staff on the use of Odoo systems.
- Collaborate with IT to manage system upgrades patches and other maintenance tasks.
- Monitor system usability and gather feedback from users to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and best practices within the systems processes.
- Advise on the use of various Odoo options and recommend best practices for enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Business Analyst or equivalent.
- Proven experience (typically 35 years) in the Retail industry with at least 12 years in senior roles.
- Knowledge about various Odoo options and best practices for maintenance and enhancements .Experience in Odoo 16/17 is a Plus.
- Certifications in business analysis (IIBA IREB ISCB or PMI) are a plus. Odoo certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is required. Arabic language is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
