Role Description: As a Scrum Master you would be a facilitator who ensures that the Scrum team follows the processes that they agreed to follow. The Scrum master skillfully removes obstacles and distractions that may impede the team from meeting goals.
This individual is the liaison between the Scrum team and people or teams outside the Scrum team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule and facilitate daily standup meetings.
- Drive planning sessions facilitate release planning and Coach team members to work together efficiently.
- Guide teams in using new tools and methodologies Resolve impediments to team workflows.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure development work is reviewed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop a deep understanding of products and vision to help guide development.
- Experiment with and integrate processes and tools that encourage continuous improvement.
- Create metrics to provide teams and the organization with relevant feedback.
- Promote an Agile mindset throughout the organization.
- Convey project strategy direction and changes to IT Leadership and other business stakeholders.
- Create and communicate project milestones and dependencies.
- Help the team to improve implement develop enhance the product and also take care of the backlog grooming including identifying unaccounted work.
- Develop metrics to measure to help improve team effectiveness including dashboard reporting.
- Introduce new ideas and processes which improve performance and productivity.
- Facilitate crossteam coordination by reaching out to the larger organization for impediment removal.
