Job Description
Position: Tax Senior REMOTE
Elite Sourcing LLC is working with a leading Public Accounting firm located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.
As a Tax Senior you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tax compliance process for our clients. This includes preparing and reviewing tax returns conducting tax research and providing guidance and support to clients on taxrelated matters. You will also be responsible for supervising and training junior tax staff and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all tax filings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal state and local tax returns for individuals corporations partnerships and trusts
Conduct tax research and provide guidance to clients on tax planning strategies and compliance issues
Review financial statements and identify potential tax issues
Communicate with clients and tax authorities to resolve any taxrelated issues
Train and supervise junior tax staff providing guidance and support as needed
Stay uptodate on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Assist with special projects and other taxrelated tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 35 years of experience in tax preparation and planning
Strong knowledge of federal state and local tax laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
