Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee the halfyear and fullyear SGX results announcements.
- Manage the preparation of financial disclosures for the Annual Report including coordination with overseas subsidiaries.
- Compile monthly and quarterly management reports for presentation to the board.
- Lead group consolidation and financial/management reporting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review consolidated journal entries and intercompany transactions including profit eliminations.
- Conduct financial analysis of consolidated results to support reporting activities such as quarterly results releases and the Annual Report.
- Analyze and review monthly financial information from subsidiaries including balance sheet items.
- Collaborate with external auditors on audit and accounting matters.
- Facilitate communication across the Group regarding changes in reporting requirements.
- Ensure group accounting policies and procedures align with evolving business requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Provide guidance to overseas teams to ensure the timely submission of monthly accounts.
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies across all entities including overseas subsidiaries.
- Support system migration and implementation projects as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 8 years of relevant work experience preferably with prior audit experience.
- Experience in a listed company and/or a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of SFRS (I) SGX Listing Manual and the Companies Act is essential
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong communication people management and organizational skills.
- Selfmotivated able to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle consolidation software is essential.
