Who We Are
Nefari a trusted partner in talent acquisition and professional development is assisting a government administration organization in Phoenix AZ in recruiting a Project Manager (IT) to join their team. This is a dynamic role for a midsenior professional eager to drive results while ensuring adherence to standards and customer satisfaction.
Note:
- Candidates must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed affidavit at the time of hire.
- The fingerprint clearance card application must be completed within seven (7) days of the hire date and the actual card must be presented within 90 days.
As an IT Project Manager you will oversee and drive the success of IT projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include managing scope schedules quality costs resources and change. This position requires strong organizational skills to manage projects with low to medium financial impact and risk ranging from departmentspecific to crossfunctional initiatives.
You will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance resolving project issues and maintaining client expectations while aligning all efforts with IT Architecture and Engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan manage and oversee IT projects ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Document and analyze workflows to identify areas for process optimization and efficiency.
- Utilize project management tools like MS Project or JIRA to track timelines tasks and progress.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and resolve project issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor constructionrelated maintenance tasks within healthcare or hospital environments when applicable.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to manage project scope quality and costs effectively.
- Track and report project performance while managing client expectations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and implement solutions that align with organizational goals.
MustHave Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in constructionrelated project management.
- Education: Bachelors degree in business management IT or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project JIRA or similar).
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction hospital maintenance and regulatory compliance.
- Strong skills in project tracking issue resolution and client expectation management.
NicetoHave Qualifications
- Experience managing healthcare projects or working in hospital maintenance.
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials.
