Job Description

WORKPLACE
Lisbon or Porto Portugal (Hybrid)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating and maintaining data pipeline architecture;
- Assembling large complex data sets that meet functional and nonfunctional business requirements;
- Building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies;
- Building analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics;
- Managing the data architecture for data ingestion pipeline setup and data curation;
- Create analytical solutions that leverage the data pipeline to provide actionable insights on key company performance metrics like customer acquisition and operational efficiency;
- Manipulating data at scale getting data in a readytouse state in close alignment with various business and Spoke stakeholders.
WE REQUIRE A PROFESSIONAL IN:
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent job expertise;
- Experience in building and optimizing big data pipelines architectures and datasets;
- Proficiency in developing processes that support data transformation data structures metadata dependency and workload management;
- Programming skills in functional programming and objectoriented script languages such as Scala Python and Java;
- Familiarity with big data tools and distributed clusters like Hadoop Spark PySpark Kafka and Kinesis;
- Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools like Azkaban Luigi Airflow Athena and Glue Workflow;
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective stakeholder interaction.
