Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer Java to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java microservices and cloud technologies with a proven ability to provide technical leadership and drive development excellence. This role requires handson expertise in modern engineering practices and the ability to lead teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain applications using Java/J2EE technologies with a focus on microservices architecture.
- Lead and guide the team in implementing engineering best practices ensuring adherence to quality standards and scalability requirements.
- Develop and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging cloudnative tools and solutions for optimal performance.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Provide technical leadership in Spring Boot development supporting the team in building robust and maintainable codebases.
- Drive architectural decisions related to microservice design and integration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of modern Java versions (preferably Java 12 or newer) and mentor the team in utilizing the latest features effectively.
- Lead team efforts in a large enterprise environment ensuring alignment with organizational goals and practices.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Java/J2EE: Proficiency in modern versions of Java (preferably Java 12 or newer).
- Spring Boot: Strong understanding and expertise in developing and maintaining Spring Boot applications.
- Microservices: Extensive experience in microservices architecture and the ability to make informed technical decisions.
- Cloud Technologies: Handson experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and related tools.
- Monitoring & Observability: Knowledge of tools and practices to ensure system health and reliability.
- Enterprise Systems: Familiarity with complex backend systems in large enterprise environments.
- Leadership: Previous experience as a manager or technical lead with the ability to guide and mentor team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- GCP Certification (mandatory).
- 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in software engineering with a focus on Java and cloudbased solutions.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
